Fans can expedite withdrawals!
What does this mean?
Expedited withdrawals allow creators to receive their GiftHaven Balance withdrawals faster, thanks to their fans! Fans can choose to increase the withdrawal speed when purchasing a cash gift or payout item for their favorite creators. When the creator withdraws the funds from a cash gift or payout item, that withdrawal will be expedited.
Fans can enable and purchase this option during checkout.
How does it work?
Here’s an example:
If a creator has $110 total in their GiftHaven Balance, and $50 is eligible for expedited withdrawal in their Expedited Withdrawal Balance, this does not mean they have $160 to withdraw.
The creator still has $110 total to withdraw.
Only $50 of that is eligible for expedited withdrawal.
When the creator hits "Withdraw Balance," there will be two withdrawals:
$60 – normal processing period (funds arrive in 24–48 hours).
$50 – expedited withdrawal (initiated ASAP).
If a creator had $60 already in their GiftHaven Balance and a fan then purchases a $50 cash gift with an Expedited Transfer, this does not mean $110 is fully available for expedited withdrawal. Once again, withdrawals will be split into:
$60 normal speed
$50 expedited speed
Why do fans need to pay?
We hold withdrawals to protect creators against disputes and chargebacks. Expedited withdrawals bypass the normal waiting period, requiring hand verification and additional staff overhead, which incurs extra costs. Additionally, faster withdrawals through our payment processors may cost more in some countries.
Who can use this feature?
This feature is currently available only for select creators. Qualification is based on factors such as time on the platform, dispute history, and review by our risk team.
