What Are Direct Credit Items?
Some online stores are not supported for direct gifting on GiftHaven. However, creators can still receive the funds to purchase items themselves.
Unlike normal gifting transactions (where the merchant ships the item directly to the creator), Direct Credit items give the creator the funds directly once a fan purchases the gift.
Creators can then use these funds to buy the item for themselves.
Cash gifts are also considered Direct Credit or payout items.
These items are marked with a green “Payout” icon on your dashboard and wishlist.
How Does It Work?
When a Direct Credit/Payout item is bought (crowdfunded or not), the funds are credited directly to your GiftHaven Balance.
You can then withdraw the balance to your preferred withdrawal method and use the funds to purchase the item yourself.
