Why Do Refunds Happen?

Refunds from Partner Stores are extremely rare, but they can occur for several reasons:

❌ Cancellations

  • Cancellations are rare, but sometimes the partner merchant may accept an order and then realize the item is out of stock due to inventory system errors.

♻️ Returns

  • Returns occur when a creator chooses to return an item.

  • If the merchant accepts the return, the refund will be issued back to GiftHaven.

  • Receiving an email about a refund means the merchant has processed your return and the funds will be added to your GiftHaven Balance.

🚚 Delivery Failed

  • Sometimes carriers may fail to deliver items.

  • If an item is returned to the merchant, they will issue a refund, which will be added to your GiftHaven Balance.

❓ Other Reasons

  • Commerce can be complex, and refunds may happen for reasons not communicated to us.

  • We may not always know the exact reason, but refunds will still be processed.


How Do I Identify Which Item Has Been Refunded?

  • You will be notified when a refund occurs.

  • Check your Orders Dashboard—refunded items will show “Refunded” status.


What Happens to the Refund?

  • The refund will be credited to your GiftHaven Balance.

  • In some cases, you may have had the option to refund your fan; these items will also show “Refunded” status.
